Our work is rooted in the belief that grief is not a problem to be solved, but a deeply human experience that deserves care, space, and reverence. Many of us have experienced grief and loss.
People have lost loved ones to death.
People have lost their own health because of disease and stress of life events.
People have lost a sense of safety and security because of natural disasters.
People working on the frontlines have lost stability, predictability, and a sense of control, often resulting in moral distress.
People are carrying really heavy loads, and they are burned out. And yet, people survive. Our job is to help you find your path forward through healing. We offer a person-centered approach that focuses on the past, present, and future. We can address the past by attending to and healing old wounds. Intergenerational grief is real and how we learned to grieve matters. We can address the present by focusing on how our life experiences impact what we think and believe about ourselves, and how that impacts our emotions. We address the future by developing new skills in coping, communication, boundary setting, regulating our stress response system, and self-care. We offer both individual and group therapy in person and via telehealth. Call us at 828-357-7388 or email at [email protected]
